Growing up under the oppressive, communistic system made me rebel against grayness and depression and any ideology that wants to enslave us. Liberation comes by using a bright, pure, vibrant palate of colors.
Experiencing oppression and control over woman's sensuality made me want to allow myself to be free and paint in the expressionistic way the human body as an aesthetic masterpiece in which we can experience the endless richness and pleasure of being alive.
Beliving that art is working for the sake of art expression, can be integrated with addressing social issues because of deep awarness of the intricacies of human existence.
